It was hard for me to figure out what to do in Memphis. So before I went I looked up all things to do, I hope this makes it easier for you guys!
The Memphis zoo. It is massive and had so many animals, it took us about 6 hours to go through it all.
The botanical Garden: Yes you do have to pay to get in but it was also massive and gorgeous. Make sure you take water and snacks.
The Lorraine hotel: It is full of amazing history and a must see.
The famous Beal streat: Amazing. It's just as alive as you think it would be. People were dancing in the street and just having a good time.
The Mississippi River: It's just a small walk from Beale street. And a beautiful walk from bridge to bridge.
Overton square: Has many places to eat and shop. During the weekends they show movies like a drive-in treaty and have a little play area.
Shelby farms stables: We booked a private horse ride!! Omg it was amazing. I suggest booking a private ride. I know it's a little more money but you get more out of it. You'll love it!
There are so many parks but my favorite is Overton park. It's beautiful.
All the food is to die for. I don't eat out much because cooking is my therapy, but I'll give you some of the best restaurants I've been to.
Central BBQ: It is famous for its BBQ but I love the chicken BBQ nachos.
Ben Yays: Is downtown and had delicious food. Tried alligator for the first time and the atmosphere was so chill.
Babalu: They made avocado dip right in front of us, and the tacos were to die for.
Casablanca restaurant: Mediterranean restaurant was amazing, the falafel hummus was amazing and so was the Egyptian Hawawshi with chicken.
Bayou grill: I had a veggie burger literally melted in my mouth.
Arcade restaurant: We had breakfast, but there biscuits were amazing.
Sunrise Memphis: Honestly, just go.
I feel like I should give a heads up the summers are blazing. So drink your water.
From your friendly neighborhood nurse!!❤️❤️
